On 2025/04/02

The historic medieval town of Èze hosted a prestigious Jethro International gathering that celebrated humanitarian civil diplomacy and marked important appointments for its expansion.
The ceremony was presided over by Mr. Patrick Van Den Eede, Commandeur de l'Ordre du Mérite Social de Belgique , Jethro's European Director and President of L'Âme Europe .
In his opening speech, Mr Patrick underlined the importance of Humanitarian Diplomacy and the symbolic choice of Èze as the venue for the event.
This charming medieval village, nestled between sea and sky, preserves centuries of history in its cobbled streets and impressive fortresses. With its breathtaking views over the Mediterranean, Eze has always been a meeting place for thinkers, artists and visionaries. Today, that same inspiration surrounds us, reminding us that humanitarian civil diplomacy, like this town, must be solid in its foundations yet open to the future.

It was a great honor to have His Excellency the Ambassador of Cameroon, Mr. Moise Massogui, on official business at the ceremony, where he was decorated with the Jethro International Humanitarian Civil Diplomat Certificate.
Mr. Patrick Van Den Eede concluded the event by underlining the responsibility of the new civilian diplomats.
It is also about reinforcing the importance of humanitarian civil diplomacy in building a fairer and more united world.
