The Soul of Europe is an international non-profit association (AISBL) chaired by Patrick Van den Eede, with headquarters at 26, rue de la Loi, 1040 Brussels.
Initially, the association's vocation was to commemorate the signing of the Treaty of Rome each year by organizing a large-scale concert. Over time, its scope of action has broadened to address issues of general interest, both in Europe and Africa.
Aware of contemporary challenges and keen to promote constructive dialogue, The Soul of Europe works to strengthen cooperation between peoples by fostering synergies with other organizations, such as Civil Diplomacy and Prometheus, the latter having carried out an in-depth study of the priority needs of the African continent.
The association reaffirms its commitment to an equitable and sustainable partnership between Europe and Africa. It insists on the need́ to work together in a spirit of reciprocitý, believing that Africa should not be seen simply as a provider of resources for Europe, but as a partner in its own right within a framework of balanced cooperation.
In a global context marked by growing health challenges, The Soul of Europe is fully aware of the risks associated with the transcontinental spread of disease. Aware of the public health issues at stake, it is committed to providing an appropriate response by facilitating access to healthcare for all.
In partnership with local authorities, the association is working to set up connected dispensaries across Europe. Thanks to these innovative infrastructures, it will be possible to detect medical needs more quickly, optimize patient care and alert the population in the event of a health emergency.
At a time when 20% of the European population has difficulty accessing healthcare, The Soul of Europe, in collaboration with Prométhée, intends to play an active role in reducing inequalities and improving health conditions.
True to its values of solidarity and cooperation, The Soul of Europe does its utmost to build bridges between continents and promote a future based on mutual respect and development.
