Entrepreneur, former opera singer
Patrick Van de Eede was born in Mechelen, Belgium in 1960.
Trained by Nicolaï Gedda, his first career was as an opera singer which he practiced until 2000.
After the conservatory of Bruges, he perfected his skills at the Guildhall School of Music and Drama in London, then in Paris, Brussels and Barcelona.
While subsequently pursuing a commercial career focused mainly on day-to-day ecological issues, he joined The Soul of Europe. His mission was to carry out the Eurovision recordings for the celebration of the Treaty of Rome.
In 2022, he became President of The Soul of Europe, where he endeavoured to share his experience by promoting international exchanges and ecology, while respecting the artistic side that was the basis of the founders.
He has also developed a speaking method based on voice work in a unique concept: ‘Just like that’.
In 2023, he was also appointed European Director of Jethro International Civil Diplomat.
